Apply for the Communications Manager, Digital and Corporate Campaigns
Location: London
Job Description:

We are looking for a Communications Manager, Digital and Corporate Campaigns to join the National Theatre’s Communications team.

The National Theatre is a creative organisation like no other, and from our stages on the South Bank to screens and audiences around the world, we champion storytelling that inspires, challenges and entertains.

As Communications Manager, Digital and Corporate Campaigns, you will play a central role in telling the story of our impact, our reach, and our global ambition with clarity, creativity and purpose.

Our digital activity is already transforming our reach – both in the UK and globally. We connect with audiences in almost every country in the world – 184 out of 195 and counting – and with a newly appointed Chief Digital Officer, we are entering an exciting new phase for the organisation. So, it’s a brilliant moment to be joining the National Theatre.

You will develop and roll out a communications strategy for the NT’s digital activity, devising and implementing publicity campaigns for our streaming service National Theatre at Home and our global cinema programme, National Theatre Live. Here you will collaborate closely with the South Bank Press and Communications team as our shows travel from the stage towards a digital life in cinemas or on streaming. You’ll lead on strategic communications and support colleagues across the Digital department, and as the communications lead for our new Content Creator strategy, you will collaborate with Marketing to reach new audiences.

Together with the Senior Corporate Communications Manager and the Communications Manager, Corporate & Campaigns, you will help shape and deliver a new corporate campaigns approach that will bring our organisational priorities to life. Through collaboration with colleagues across the whole theatre – from Development and Policy to Finance, Data & Insight, Sustainability and Strategy – you’ll generate and lead imaginative, impactful corporate communications campaigns that put the National Theatre centre stage.

And best of all, you’ll be surrounded every day by the best, most creative theatre-makers in the world and be part of a fun, highly skilled communications team! The role means multi-tasking and working quickly and diligently across many different projects – a large volume of which involves campaign roll-out work.
