Obsidian is seeking a PhD Physicist — Frontier Reasoning Trajectory Writer to produce detailed solutions for hard physics problems. This role involves crafting ‘golden trajectories’ with sound reasoning, utilizing iterative LLM workflows in a studio environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a PhD or be close to completing one, with fluency in LaTeX and Python. You will work approximately 15 hours per week on complex topics including astrophysics, condensed matter, and quantum physics.
