Project Manager Civil Engineering (52‑Week Scheme)

Location: LiverpoolSalary: £70,000 £80,000 + Car Allowance £5000 + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

A well-established and growing civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint a high-calibre Project Manager to deliver an £8 million commercial build scheme in Liverpool.

This project consists of a large industrial / warehouse ( shed ) build and is a key scheme for a new client, making it critical that the appointed Project Manager has a strong reputation for delivering successful projects and running well‑organised, high-performing sites.

The Role

• Full responsibility for the delivery of a 52‑week £8m scheme from inception through to completion
• Leading all site operations, programme management, and resource planning
• Managing subcontractors and site teams to drive performance and productivity
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, and compliance
• Acting as the main point of contact for the client and key stakeholders
• Ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification

The Candidate

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering / commercial or industrial builds
• Strong technical background across groundworks, infrastructure, and structural packages
• Track record of successfully delivering projects of similar value and complexity
• Known for being a hands‑on leader who can take control of a site and deliver results
• Strong client‑facing ability, particularly important for building a new client relationship
• Organised, driven, and confident in managing programmes and teams
