Junior Electrical Engineer (Design / Building Services)
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 + Hybrid + Bonus + Private Healthcare + 25 Days Holiday + Benefits. Location: Newcastle upon Tyne.
Are you an aspiring Building Services Design Engineer with an electrical background, looking to join a close-knit and progressive company? This role offers a fully funded Building Services Degree.
In this office‑based role you will work on electrical design projects ranging from £5k to £3.5m, designing HV/LV networks, lighting, fire and security systems, and overseeing budgets and timescales.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems, specifications, and attend site meetings
- Involve in lighting, alarm systems, HV/LV and network distribution
- 70% design work while overseeing projects including budgets and timescales
- Attend University for a fully funded Building Services Degree
- Work in a hybrid environment, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week, flexible working
Qualifications / Person
- College leaver or graduate from an electrical background
- Desire for a fully funded degree in Building Services
