The role of Service Engineer:

• Diagnosing and resolving faults on a range of industrial machinery
• Carrying out routine servicing, calibration, and component replacement
• Performing strip-downs and machine rebuilds where required
• Reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic diagrams
• Installing and commissioning new equipment on customer sites
• Providing technical support and guidance directly to customers
• Managing own schedule and travel arrangements effectively across a regional patch
• Completing administration and reporting (1 day per week in the office)
• Supporting larger projects alongside colleagues when required

The ideal Service Engineer:

• Proven experience in fault-finding on industrial machinery and working remotely
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills — ideally with electro-mechanical capital equipment
