As a Property Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in driving the continued growth of our property advertising solutions. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of estate agency clients and acquiring new partners across the UK. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Portfolio Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of existing residential real estate clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial outreach and lead generation through to product demonstration, negotiation, closing deals, and successful onboarding.
New Business Development: Proactively identify, target, and contact residential estate agencies to introduce Gumtree’s property advertising solutions.
Consultative Selling: Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business needs and challenges, articulating how our platform can increase property listings, drive sales, and deliver a strong return on investment.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and the face of Gumtree’s property partner network.
Market Feedback: Act as a vital link between our clients and our product team, gathering crucial market feedback to help shape product development and refine our sales strategy.
Achieve Targets: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client communications in our CRM system.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Experience)
Essential:
Proven track record in a B2B sales role, with a focus on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within the property/real estate sector.
Experience and a deep understanding of the UK residential real estate industry. You should be familiar with the operational needs, challenges, and goals of estate agencies.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
A resilient, proactive, and results‑driven mindset. You are a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, target-oriented environment.
Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Desirable:
Experience selling digital advertising, SaaS, or classified listings products.
An existing network of contacts within the UK estate agency community.
Experience working in a start‑up environment or as part of a new product launch.
