Instrumentation & Control Construction Supervisor

Full time, site based role. PAYE Salary. Approximate 5 year contract (Dependent on project completion).

This role supports the delivery of a Nuclear New Build in Bridgwater. The supervisor will be responsible for the execution of electrical and I&C erection works, managing subcontractors on site, and ensuring safe, high‑quality delivery through to turnover and handover to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and I&C installation and erection works.
• Manage subcontractors and site resources.
• Coordinate with engineering and site management.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC and EHS requirements.
• Maintain construction, quality and as-built records.
• Manage turnover packages and support commissioning.
• Drive programme, cost control and safe delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering power plant construction projects.
• Strong background in site‑based construction supervision.
• Proven subcontractor management experience.
• Good knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Fluent in English.

Desirable

• Nuclear or major infrastructure project experience.
• Experience working in multicultural teams.
