Supported by a team of over 130 full-time staff and over 200 volunteers, the independently governed and independently financed charity offers an extensive array of more than 60 programmes and initiatives that tackle a diverse range of social issues including health, employability, anti-social behaviour, crime, exploitation, education, dementia, and disability.Everton in the Community stands firmly beside the most at-risk and most in need members of its local communities, but the needs of the city are ever-growing and ever-evolving and the official charity of Everton Football Club is committed to helping as many people as possible.About the opportunity : We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join ourMarketing team.In this role you will be working alongside the EitC Designersupporting the Marketing Manager in the day-to-day operations of marketing-related functions across Everton in the Community, ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and meets existing Charity brand guidelines.Supporting both digital and traditional marketing initiatives, and with a focus on email marketing and customer data management, you will also provide excellent marketing support for the introduction of new products and services, as well as developing and delivering marketing activity across all existing EitC programmes within Everton in the Community.
Other key responsibilities will include
- Supporting the Marketing Manager in ensuring that Everton in the Community requirements are accurately briefed in and scheduled in accordance with Club protocol
- Working directly with the EitC Designer and liaise with relevant staff to provide any wider context to brief and to provide feedback on initial design drafts or concepts
- Engaging with existing email software platform and EitC customer data to deliver campaigns that focus on the development of the customer profile and user journey
- To support the Marketing Manager to deliver on targeted paid digital and social media campaigns, reviewing and monitoring key metrics to inform future activities where appropriate
- To review and develop plans to support the Charitys SEO objectives
- Where appropriate, and working with print and other suppliers, ensure all externally produced marketing materials are of a suitable quality and meet Charity brand guidelines
- To support in branding projects where required across the Charity
Safeguarding
- To understand the Clubs Safeguarding policy, procedures and best practice guidelines. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment
Who we are looking for : Essentially, we are looking for an individual who is driven and motivated with a commitment of providing quality and has a keen eye for detail. Our ideal candidate will also demonstrate a proactive can-do approach to work.
Other key Knowledge and Skills will include
- Educated to A level or NVQ in Marketing or equivalent
- Experience of working with a design studio, either directly or through an agency
- Experience within a similar role in marketing
- Knowledge of email marketing, software platforms and related data systems
- Knowledge of segmentation and effective targeting, as well as the importance of using data effectively
- Understanding of SEO/GEO and what is needed to help drive additional web traffic to the Charity website
- Experience of supporting marketing campaigns from inception to delivery B2B and B2C
- Excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to build rapport and positive relationships with all levels of an organisation
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who places high value on attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate and prioritise diverse workload, managing work, time and resources cost-effectively
- Good team player who can work on own initiative
