£46,000 – £48,800 (plus shift allowance)
A number of Maintenance Technicians are wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours who is at the forefront of their industry and going through a real period of growth.
This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £46,000 – £48800 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus shift allowance, and a benefits package that befits the client’s global reputation.
Overview of the Maintenance Technician role:
- Act as first response to breakdowns and controls to deliver minimal down time using safe working practices.
- Carry out proactive maintenance checks, running checks and ensure completion to schedule.
- Implement permanent corrective actions to reoccurring issues.
- Carrying out weekend/shutdown work and deliver projects as per business requirements.
Key skills required for the Maintenance Technician role:
- An apprenticeship to BTEC certificate Level 3 standard (or equivalent qualification) in a either mechanical/electrical or maintenance engineering.
- Previous Maintenance experience within a manufacturing/production/automated environment.
- Full eligibility and right to work in the UK alongside a flexible attitude to shift work.
