Position: Business Development Manager (Robotic Lawn Mower)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to support the growth of our robotic lawn mower business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for channel development, distributor management, customer relationship building, and sales growth in the assigned market.

This role requires frequent customer visits and occasional business travel. The successful candidate should have strong sales capabilities, experience in machinery or equipment-related industries, and a proven ability to develop dealer networks and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute monthly and quarterly sales forecasts and business plans.
  • Develop, expand, and manage local sales channels and dealer/distributor networks.
  • Take full ownership of the sales process, including customer visits, negotiations, quotations, contract signing, payment collection, and after-sales coordination.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and drive business growth within the territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports and provide timely market feedback to internal teams.
  • Conduct or organize product training sessions for distributors and customers.
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence, including market trends, competitor activities, customer demands, new applications, and product opportunities.
  • Gather product feedback from dealers and end users and communicate insights to R&D and management teams.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of sales or business development experience in machinery-related industries, such as agricultural machinery, landscaping equipment, construction equipment, robotic equipment, outdoor power equipment, or similar sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong hunting and closing skills with the ability to independently develop new customers and channels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for customer visits and business development activities.
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Preferred

  • Experience in channel development, distributor management, or dealer network expansion.
  • Experience in robotic lawn mowers, agricultural machinery, outdoor power equipment, turf care equipment, or related industries.
  • Technical understanding of machinery products and their applications.
