The Opportunity
Join a leading Tier 1 engineering contractor delivering works on Hinkley Point C, one of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects.
We’re looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of electrical installation and engineering projects from planning through to completion.
Previous nuclear experience is not essential. We welcome candidates from sectors including rail, defence, oil & gas, utilities, power generation, data centres and major infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of electrical projects to safety, quality, programme and cost targets.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and subcontractors.
- Review electrical designs, drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and commercial performance.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
About You
- Degree, HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong electrical installation and engineering knowledge.
- Experience within engineering, construction, M&E, EPC or infrastructure projects.
- Previous Project Engineer, Electrical Engineer or similar experience.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
