Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Stoke-On-Trent for a Deputy Manager – Supported Accommodation. The Deputy Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring delivery of high-quality care and support services for young people transitioning to independence. Responsibilities include supervising the staff team, maintaining regulatory compliance, creating individual support plans, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment. The role also involves liaising with stakeholders, managing budgets, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the service.

Qualifications

  • Experience in team supervision, leadership, and staff management
  • Strong knowledge of supported accommodation services and regulatory compliance
  • Skills in case management, risk assessment, and creating personalized support plans
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and young people
  • Familiarity with budgeting, resource management, and operational oversight is desirable
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care or a related field; a Level 3/5 Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
