Insight Global are seeking a Regulatory Project Manager to join a leading global financial services organisation, supporting regulatory initiatives within their Global Markets function.
This position requires 3 days onsite in Chester, UK for a contract (Inside IR35) through end of year with possible rolling extensions.

The successful candidate will lead a diverse portfolio of initiatives, ranging from strategic transformation programmes to regulatory and market-driven mandates, all aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and delivering business value.
The Project Manager will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Operations, Front Office, Technology, Finance, and other key functions. You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery, including business case development, requirements gathering, testing coordination, and post-implementation reviews. The role will also involve process design, data modelling, and building target operating models.
Must-Have Requirements Include:
- Proven project management experience within investment banking, particularly supporting regulatory initiatives
- Strong expertise in project planning, documentation, and risk management
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across multiple business areas
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work independently and lead small to mid-sized teams
Plusses Include:
- Exposure to eInvoicing or similar regulatory programmes
- Knowledge of commodities, OTC derivatives/futures, or post-trade processes (such as fees and billing)
- Familiarity with structured project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP)
