Interim AI Operating Advisor – Private Equity

Camino Search is currently partnering with a lower mid-market private equity fund hiring for an Interim AI Operating Advisor to work across the portfolio to identify value use cases and support implementation.

This will be a critical role in accelerating the next phase of AI-enabled value creation for portfolio companies, both from a strategic planning perspective and hands-on delivery, working with leadership teams as a bridge between strategic intent and practical execution.

This is an interim engagement for an initial 3-6 months with scope for long-term extensions, and paying c.£1000 per day outside IR35.

Required Experience:

• Proven track record delivering AI initiatives in an operational or advisory capacity.
• Experience working across multiple businesses or functions simultaneously to co-ordinate different workstreams.
• Confidence to engage senior stakeholders in portfolio leadership and investment teams.
• Background in private equity environments, bringing a strong understanding of EBITDA impact from transformation.
