Our client, a top UK law firm, is actively recruiting for a bright and enthusiastic graduate with some general office based experience, to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – working as their new Recoveries Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the wider Risk & Compliance team, working closely with Recoveries Manager and Senior Recoveries Officer – managing the firm’s debt-recovery process. This role would be ideal for someone with strong legal research experience, seeking a new and and varied position within the legal sector.
As the successful Recoveries Assistant, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Assisting the team in triaging debt referrals and tracking outstanding debts
- Conducting in-depth legal research into individuals and companies using tools such as; HM Land Registry and Companies House
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of communications and taking minutes in meetings
- Providing updates to clients regarding their debts
- Assisting in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports
- Attending debtor calls let me seniors in the team

To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Have experience working in an office setting, ideally within legal or finance
- Be educated to degree level
- Ideally, have experience or exposure to recoveries/debt recovery
- Have strong research based experience
- Be able to commute into the London office
