Location: South East England. Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Salary: £31,824 – £32,656.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and ready to step into a leadership role within residential childcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage shifts.
• Support and mentor Residential Support Workers.
• Provide direct support and keyworking to young people.
• Promote safeguarding and positive outcomes at all times.
• Support care plans, risk assessments and daily records.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming and well‑run home.
• Build positive relationships with families and professionals.
• Administer medication when trained and authorised.

About you

Essential:

• Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Services (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting children and young people, including managing challenging behaviour.
• Leadership or senior support experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong communication and record‑keeping skills.

Desirable:

• Experience within a children’s residential setting.
• Mentoring or coaching experience.
• Flexibility around shifts.
• Good IT skills.

You must already be eligible to work in the UK (indefinitely & without sponsorship).
