Trainee Dental Nurse / Receptionist

Location:The Dental Design Studio (Main base – Walthamstow)Hours:Full-time, 5 days per week (Monday–Saturday rota)

We are looking for a Trainee Dental Nurse / Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team. This is a varied role combining dental nursing and reception duties in a busy, modern practice.

About the Role

The successful candidate will support dentists chairside while also assisting with reception and administrative tasks when required. You will be working as part of a supportive team, helping to ensure high standards of patient care and smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental nursing support during a range of dental procedures
• Assist with reception duties including patient communication and appointment management
• Follow all practice policies, infection control procedures, and Health & Safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records (SFD experience desirable but not essential)
• Support compliance with CQC standards
• Work collaboratively with the dental team and maintain professional conduct at all times
• Undertake CPD in line with GDC requirements and maintain registration

Requirements

• Currently enrolled on a Dental Nurse training course with practical experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, flexible, and able to use own initiative
• Positive attitude and willingness to work across nursing and reception duties
• Basic IT skills (SFD experience advantageous but not essential)
