Healthcare Assistant – Radiology (Ipswich Hospital)

Salary: £12.84 per hour. Bank position, ad‑hoc hours, including weekends.

We’re looking for someone to support our colleagues and help deliver the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet deadlines and follow instructions.
• Provide face‑to‑face assistance to patients during radiology procedures (ultrasound, intervention).
• Offer support to radiologists during procedures.
• Maintain a good telephone manner and perform computer/database tasks.
• Carry out administrative duties.
• Put patient care first and meet the needs of every individual.
• Use organisational skills to make a positive impact.

Qualifications and Experience

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (preferred).
• Experience in an acute hospital or care setting (preferred).
• Good computer and database skills.
• Good telephone manner.
• Ability to work on a bank schedule without fixed hours.
