Operator – Paper Bag Machine / In-Line Printing

Job Title: Operator – Paper Bag Machine / In-Line Printing.

Salary: Basic salary from £30k – £35k per annum, DOE.

Shift Pattern: 6 am – 2 pm, 2 pm – 10 pm, 10 pm – 6 am.

About the Role: The Operator will report to the Production Manager and will operate all Paper Bag Production Machines, performing mechanical and safety quality checks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the EKOFA 6 Colour Printer and related paper bag production machinery.
• Set up and adjust machines, conduct maintenance checks.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards.
• Print bags at all levels, using customer‑provided samples and proofs.
• Maintain BRCGS & FPA standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience with mechanical machine set‑up and adjustments.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with quality checks and printing processes.
• Understanding of BRCGS & FPA standards.

Client: The client is a global brand operating a 200,000‑sq‑ft factory that manufactures eco‑friendly paper and board products. Candidates are welcome to relocate to the area.
