CNC Setter Operators (RT161225set3) – Basildon, England

Salary: £16 – £19 per hour

We are a small, busy sub‑contract precision engineering company supplying the aerospace sector.

Qualifications

• Turners: experienced CNC Turner Setter/Programmer with Mazak, Mazatrol and Fanuc experience (online programming, setting, proving out and operating lathes) producing low-volume, unique components to tight tolerances.
• Millers: setter‑operators with metal machining experience on Haas (Fanuc) controls or Hurco machines.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Machine exotic materials.
• Meet stringent quality standards.
• Complete basic inspection.
• Work closely with Engineering/Quality to resolve issues.

Working Hours

Mon–Thu 08:00–16:30, Fri 08:00–15:30.

Overtime paid at 1.5x.

Permanent roles – salary dependent on experience. No visa sponsorship.
