Salary: GBP12.71 – GBP16.9 per hour + Days and nights available

Kinetic Recruitment are looking to recruit experienced Manufacturing / Mechanical Assemblers for one of our clients in Leicester. They are a multinational company and market leader in their field.

Responsibilities

• Assembling mechanical parts
• Carrying out duties within the production line as instructed by line manager
• Adhering to the companies Health and Safety guidelines
• Providing total cell commitment and support in the attainment of goals, with respect to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and compliance tasks
• Working towards lean and continuous improvements in the area
• Reviewing workload priorities with the line manager and acting on the guidance provided
• Assembling and fitting printed circuit boards (PCBs) onto mechanical components as part of team processes

Qualifications

• Have good manual dexterity for assembling electro/mechanical components
• Be able to read and understand Technical drawings & job-related manufacturing documentation
• Be able to accurately maintain records and have clear, legible handwriting
• Have good verbal & written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Be able to multitask and rotate across key processes
• Have a keen eye for detail
• Confident following written procedures and using computer systems to access and check manufacturing instructions
• Previous experience in soldering or component assembly is beneficial but not essential
• Handling a variety of products requiring a careful and detail-focused approach
