Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Overview

Electro-Mechanical Assembler – Location: Hertfordshire (On-site). Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per year.

An established technology manufacturing company is looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands-on electronics assembly experience who is looking to work within a quality-focused and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electronic products to required specifications.
• Carry out quality inspections on components and finished assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and inspect products during assembly builds.
• Follow production procedures and work instructions accurately.
• Report assembly or product issues where required.
• Maintain high standards of quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing.
• Skilled in microscope-assisted soldering of fine wires and small components.
• Experience soldering SMD and fine-pitch components.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiar with electronic test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Understanding of ESD-safe handling practices and quality procedures.
• Good PC skills including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
