Due to continued growth, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Solderer to join our established manufacturing client. With over 20 years’ experience, they are recognised for producing premium, reliable products that enhance productivity, efficiency, and operator safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform solder touch‑ups on circuit boards to correct issues such as voids, shorts, pinholes, cold joints, or insufficient solder, including desoldering and component removal.
• Place electronic components (through‑hole and SMT) and solder them using a soldering iron and wire solder (training provided).
• Carry out final assembly of modules using appropriate fixing hardware, wiring looms, and enclosure parts.
• Build and assemble wire harnesses to specification.
• Confirm product accuracy by measuring and inspecting finished components against specifications.
• Escalate assembly issues to the supervisor to ensure timely resolution and additional support where needed.
• Keep equipment in working order by following manufacturer guidelines and reporting when maintenance or repairs are required.
• Use materials and equipment efficiently to support cost‑effective production.
• Record all actions by completing necessary production and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of soldering and small electrical component assembly.
• Previous experience in electronics or electrical assembly.
• Ability to work independently and receive one‑to‑one support.
