Quality Control Operative

Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire

Pay Rate: 14.41 per hour (28,474 per annum)

Job Type: Temporary

Start Date: Immediate

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Keighley. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in a production or automotive environment who are looking for a hands‑on role with a quality focus.

Key Duties

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Carrying out inspection checks using measuring equipment
• Completing inspection and quality reports
• Following control documentation including SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), visual standards and control plans
• Supporting general production duties, including packing

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment
• Experience with quality checks or inspection processes
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic

Shift Hours

Morning Shift: 5:30 am – 2 pm Monday to Thursday & 5:30 am – 11:30 am Fri = 38 hours per week

Afternoon Shift: 2 pm – 10:30 pm Mon to Thurs & 11:30 am – 5:30 pm Fri = 38 hours per week

Rate of Pay: 14.41 per hour (including shift allowance)
