The Role As a Plater, you’ll be working with 20mm – 40mm thick plate in a structural steel environment.
From interpreting technical drawings to producing high-quality components, you’ll play a key role in ensuring production standards are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities: Fabricating components from 20mm – 40mm plate Reading and interpreting technical drawings Using a variety of tools and equipment in a structural steel setting Delivering work to a consistently high standard within given timeframes
What We’re Looking For: Time Served with a solid background in structural steel fabrication Proven experience working with thick plate materials Ability to work independently from technical drawings and specifications Willingness to complete and pass a trade test before starting Working Hours: Monday
Thursday: 7:45am – 4:45pm Friday: 7:45am – 12:45pm (early finish) Pay Rates (CIS or Umbrella): Basic: £23.09 per hour Overtime: £31.44 per hour (after 39 hours)
