Key Responsibilities

• Use non-operator metal working machinery and welding equipment appropriate to each job.
• Check the materials issued for each job as specified in the production order and detailed in the works order.
• Do quality checks.
• Work as part of a team to deliver products on time.
• Work in line with H&S policies.

Background / Qualifications

• Ability to read and work directly from drawings.
• Knowledge of general metalworking machines e.g. hydraulic metalworker, MAG drilling equipment, Pillar drill.
• Skills in manual propane cutting.
• Experience in sheet metal work including light to medium fabrication.
