• Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm; alternative Saturday mornings
• Monday to Friday 9:30am to 7:30pm

Pay

• £30k-£36,000.00 per year plus annual Bonus

Job Summary

We are seeking a newly qualified HGV / LGV Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out inspections, servicing, and maintaining vehicles. This role requires a technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ongoing Technical training and IRTEC qualification together with financial support to gain Class 2 licences.

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HGV / LGV vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Perform repairs, mechanical adjustments and component replacements.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with all compliance/ health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and optimise operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge.
• Health and safety.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
