Job Title & Compensation

Maintenance Electrician | Commercial Environments | Milton Keynes | £45,000 + Van & Package.

Location

Mobile within a 2 hour radius of Milton Keynes.

Employment Package

• Role: Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer
• Status: Permanent, PAYE
• Base Salary: £45,000
• Expected Earnings: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum
• Travel time: paid after 30 minutes each way
• Environments: Commercial – retail and similar
• Hours: site hours 08:00am to 3-5pm (location dependent)
• Paid overtime between 1.5 to 2 times the rate
• Call out rota: 1 in 8 weeks: £100 standby + minimum of 4 hours if called out
• 34 days paid annual leave (26 + bank holidays), company van (business use), fuel card, uniform, pension, phone and other internal company benefits

Responsibilities

Carry out works such as emergency light testing, sockets, circuits, lamps, ballasts, temporary power supplies, power distribution, transformers, cabling and first‑line faults to mechanical/ HVAC building services equipment, including electrical components to AHUs, FCUs, split units, etc., and provide light fabric duties as required.

Perform electrical planned maintenance (PPMs), reactive maintenance/remedial work and first‑line faults to building services systems and equipment.

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3 2330, City & Guilds 2360 Part 2, or equivalent
• Up‑to‑date regulations: 18th edition
• UK driving licence with 9 points or under
• Experience in commercial environments, preferably in a maintenance‑based position
