Trainee Fabricator Welder – Aberdeen

KBM Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Trainee Fabricator Welder to join a well-established engineering company in Aberdeen.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a bit of welding experience to develop further hands‑on skills within a busy workshop environment. The Trainee will be responsible for fabricating and welding, in accordance with container specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG and MMA welding duties
• Assist with fabrication, fitting, and repair of steel components
• Operate workshop equipment including grinders, bandsaws, guillotines, cutting torches, overhead cranes, and hand tools
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Follow all health & safety procedures and company processes
• Work collaboratively within a team environment
• Support other workshop activities as required and participate in cross‑training opportunities

Candidate Requirements

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Previous workshop or repair environment experience preferred but not essential
• No formal qualifications required
• Motivated, reliable, and adaptable approach to work
