Welder / Fabricator x 4 – TIG/MIG – NVQ Level 3 (M62 Corridor)
We are looking for four experienced TIG/MIG welders from the sheet‑metal working and fabrication industry to start immediately near Normanton. You must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 and possess skills in welding light‑gauge material. Thin stainless‑steel experience is essential; aluminium experience is an advantage. You should be able to read and work from engineering drawings with minimum supervision.
Shift: Afternoon shift only – Mon‑Fri, 2 pm to 10 pm.
Location: Near Normanton (M62 corridor). Commutable from Wakefield, Pontefract, Leeds, Doncaster, Castleford, Selby, Dewsbury, Goole, Barnsley.
We offer competitive pay at £22.00 per hour / £42,900 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG/MIG welding on light‑gauge materials.
- Read and execute engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a neat and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in welding or equivalent.
- Proficient in TIG and MIG welding on thin stainless‑steel.
- Experience with aluminium welding is a plus.
