Electrical Assembler / Panel Wirer

Electrical Assemblers / Panel Wirers required. £18.90 per hour, three-day weekends, 33 holidays and a 10% pension scheme are just a few of the benefits available with this growing engineering manufacturer in Leeds.

Due to continued growth, this well-established manufacturer is looking to recruit additional Electrical Assemblers / Panel Wirers to support the build of distribution and power transformer systems within a modern production facility. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, overtime and progression.

The role will involve:

• Installation and termination of instruments and wiring systems on transformer builds
• Assembly of panels, kiosks and associated fittings
• Cable running, routing and termination
• Preparing cabling and instrumentation for installation

In return, the Electrical Assembler / Panel Wirer will receive:

• £32,450 annual salary including shift allowance
• Overtime paid at premium rates
• 33 days holiday

Requirements:

• Previous electrical assembly or panel wiring experience
• Ability to read drawings and wiring schematics
• Experience with cable running and termination
• Electrical engineering experience preferred

Working Hours:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday – 06:00 to 14:00
• Week 2: Monday to Thursday – 12:30 to 22:00

Based in Pudsey, the role is commutable from Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Wakefield and surrounding areas.
