The Role

• Operate one or more CNC machines in the cell.
• Perform daily machine health check‑list.
• Handle traveler bookings and documents in the cell.
• Stamp own work.
• Report NCRs (Non‑Conformance Reports).
• Assist with other duties at the discretion of the Production Team Leader.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
• Participate in training when required.
• Minimise the level of scrap components.
• Mentor and support new staff or apprentices working within the machine shop.
• Work actively with the Production Team Leader and Production Manager to establish key delivery dates and requirements.
• Communicate workshop issues to the CNC Setter/Charge Hand and Production Team Leader.

Requirements

• CNC Operator experience or precision manufacturing experience is ideal.
• Machine Operator background is essential.
• Engineering background.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
