Remuneration: Competitive salary taking into account skills, experience and qualifications

As a Domestic Loss Adjuster you will manage a caseload of domestic property damage claims across the Sheffield/Lincoln/Doncaster area, from visiting claimants’ homes, coordinating contractor visits, to settling each claim. You will compile comprehensive reports and maintain a mix of office and home work.

The Skills You Will Have When You Apply

  • A full UK Driving Licence – essential for travel by car
  • Insurance knowledge – understanding of home insurance and domestic property basics
  • Excellent communication skills – speaking and writing to policyholders, insurers and contractors, explaining complex details and negotiating fair settlements
  • Problem‑solving abilities – identifying and resolving issues efficiently
  • Time management – planning your own week, prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and handling multiple claims concurrently

What Is Helpful, But Not Vital, In Your Application

  • Experience with Apple software such as iPads or other tablets
