Multi‑Skilled Carpenter – Cardiff | 3‑month FTC | £35,539 + Van, Fuel Card | 40 hours per week | Monday – Friday | Start ASAP

As a Multi‑Skilled Carpenter, you’ll be part of a fast‑paced maintenance team delivering high‑quality repairs across both tenanted and void properties. While carpentry remains at the core of the role, we’re particularly interested in candidates with strong capability in uPVC and composite door and window maintenance.

• Servicing and repairing uPVC windows, including hinge, handle and restrictor renewal
• Working confidently with tilt & turn mechanisms
• Accurately measuring and identifying replacement misted or broken double‑glazed units
• General carpentry tasks such as door hanging, frame repairs, skirting renewal and ironmongery
• Patch plastering and minor decorative repairs
• Delivering minor plumbing solutions, such as tap repairs, isolation valve renewal, or waste trap work
• Supporting wider maintenance tasks across properties as required

What We’re Looking For

• Confident carpenter with proven experience in social housing or similar environments
• Demonstrate strong technical ability with uPVC/composite doors and windows repair and maintenance
• Offer excellent customer service and clear communication with tenants
• Have a solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements
• Be adaptable, organised and comfortable managing a varied workload
• Hold a full clean driving licence
