Salary

£28,608 – £32,089 per annum. Full time, permanent contract.

About The Role

As an NTU Joiner, you will be part of the in‑house Estates team that supports and enables the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the university estate. The role is varied and diverse, with day‑to‑day duties ranging from ensuring that our estate is safe and operational to supporting the delivery of key University events such as open days and graduation ceremonies.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake routine joinery repairs and maintenance in all the University buildings.
  • Manufacture and install purpose‑made joinery items.
  • Perform installation works and support the delivery of minor works projects.
  • Support legislative compliance duties, such as fire door inspections and repairs.
  • Assist in setting up and delivering key University events such as open days, graduation, and clearing.
