Cable Assemblers (Northamptonshire)

We’re currently recruiting a Cable Assembler to join a growing and friendly team in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, has great attention to detail and wants to be part of a supportive company with long‑term opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Wiring of cables and looms
• Crimping
• Testing and quality checking products
• Packing, labelling and stock control
• Reading technical drawings and work instructions
• Applying coatings and heat shrink
• General production and assembly tasks

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cable assembly and basic wiring
• Good attention to detail
• Fine soldering experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Basic IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Additional Information

Hours: 07:35 to 16:15 Monday to Thursday, 07:35 to 15:15 Friday

Rate: £12.71 – £14.24 per hour

Start date: ASAP
