We are looking for Apprentice Fabricator Welders to join our team in September 2026, based at our site in Ballinamallard, Enniskillen. Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education.
Vacancy Details
Our apprenticeship scheme offers you the opportunity to develop the skills required to kick start your career while working on large‑scale, iconic structures. Joining us on this apprenticeship will allow you to work towards the industry recognised Level 3 Metal Fabrication Apprentice Standard. The successful candidates will work in our factory, gaining hands‑on experience in interpreting technical drawings, marking out, producing, and assembling fabricated products. You will learn the role from our skilled fabricators who will mentor you throughout your journey. Additionally, you will study two days a week at South West College to gain the theoretical knowledge alongside your practical skills. Applications will be reviewed March 2026, with Assessment Centres held for shortlisted candidates in April 2026.
Responsibilities
- Work in the factory, interpreting technical drawings and producing fabricated products.
- Mark out, produce, and assemble fabricated steel components.
- Learn and apply fabrication techniques under the guidance of experienced fabricators.
- Attend South West College classes twice a week to complement practical training.
Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years old.
- Achievement of a minimum of 4 GCSEs (Grade 9‑4/A*‑C) including English, Maths and a Science subject.
- Successful application and acceptance into South West College.
