Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Bench Assembler. This role is offered as a temp to perm position.
Responsibilities
The role involves mechanical assembly – using hand tools to measure and cut metal pipes – packing and general housekeeping of the production area.
Location & Hours
Location: Rochester – Laker Road
Hours: 40 hrs per week – 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
Remuneration
Rate: £12.71 ph PAYE, weekly pay
Transport & Equipment
Please note due to our client’s location candidates will need to have their own transport or live within a 20 minute walk of Laker Road, Rochester.
Having your own STC boots or shoes is essential.
Qualifications
No experience of assembling is required but use of hand tools is desirable – saws, plyers, crimping.
Suitable Bench Assembler candidates will need to possess excellent hand to eye coordination and be physically fit as the job is standing all day with some heavy lifting involved.
