Job Overview

Morson Talent is recruiting Skilled Aircraft Fitters to work for our prestigious client in Filton, Bristol.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and apply prior experience as a fitter/assembly operator.
• Assemble and secure components for the A400M aircraft.
• Work comfortably at heights and within confined spaces.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completed an apprenticeship in an engineering discipline (sheet metal worker, aircraft/maintenance technician, tool maker, fitter/turner).
• Hold NVQ Level 2 + Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience with hand tools and assembler/assembly operator role.
• Completed a work‑based or time‑served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.

Employment Details

• Start date: mid‑October.
• 12‑month rolling contract with possibility of permanent role.
• 35 hours per week, Monday‑Thursday 6:30 am‑3:45 pm.
• Pre‑employment medical and BPSS clearance required.
• Pay options:
  • UK Payroll (PAYE): £20.13 per hour.
  • Umbrella: £26.92 per hour.
• Overtime: 25 % uplift Monday‑Friday, 50 % Saturday‑Sunday.
