Moxie People are supporting a long‑established precision engineering business as they welcome two new Manual Turners into their small, friendly team. With two retirements on the horizon, this is a chance to step into a stable, well‑run workshop where quality comes first and processes have been refined over 20 years.
About the role
- You’ll be producing high‑accuracy components on manual lathes (Colchester and Hardinge)
- Working to tight tolerances, and machining a wide range of materials including aluminium, steels, plastics, and ceramics
- You’ll read and interpret engineering drawings, set up your own jobs, and use mechanical and digital measuring tools to check your work
- You’ll also play an active role in maintaining the smooth running of the workshop – keeping things clean, safe, and ready for the next job
