This position is based in Stratford‑upon‑Avon, with occasional travel to London locations.

Shift pattern

4 days on, 4 days off, alternating 4‑day shifts of 12:00‑23:00 and 07:30‑18:30. Average 35 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

  • Attend breakdowns and carry out repairs, including electrical maintenance of building systems and assets, ensuring timely completion.
  • Repair faulty lighting circuits in theatre auditoriums, restore power to distribution panels in office areas, troubleshoot HVAC control systems in workshops, and fix stage automation equipment to keep performances running smoothly.
  • Diagnose faults in electrical service, apparatus and components; test equipment to identify causes and return it to safe operation.
  • Assist with project work, installing new electrical systems and services.
  • Carry out statutory PPM tasks related to HVAC building services.
  • Work in accordance with all relevant health and safety legislation, codes of practice and company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Recognised electrical qualification: City and Guilds or NVQ.
  • Significant experience in a similar electrical fault‑finding role.
  • Multi‑disciplined trades experience (plumbing, mechanical engineering).
  • Ability to use appropriate diagnostic equipment.
  • Capability to work at heights, using ladders, scaffolding and confined spaces in various conditions.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements.

Additional requirements

A flexible approach is required for occasional overtime to cover absences and annual leave as the business demands.
