Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for dedicated Machine Operators to join our esteemed client, a leading manufacturer of bubble wrap and foam packaging materials located in Kettering. As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process. Operating extrusion machines, you will produce bubble wrap, foam packaging materials and bags. This physically demanding position involves heavy lifting and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machines to manufacture bubble wrap, foam packaging materials, and bags.
• Perform packing tasks, including bagging and stacking products.
• Assist with loading and unloading lorries.
• Learn and progress to become a machine operator.
• Cross‑check loading based on orders and labels.
• Collaborate effectively with a small team to ensure accurate product handling.

• Physically fit with the ability to handle heavy lifting.

• Good work ethic, attendance, and commitment to safety.
• Availability for rotating shifts from Monday to Friday.

Shifts

This role involves working rotating shifts on a weekly basis, Monday to Friday. The shifts are as follows: 6 am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 10 pm, 10 pm to 6 am. Workers will rotate through all three shifts on a weekly basis.
