Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to join their business in Herford.

Key Skills required of the CNC Setter Operator

• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience of working in a machining environment.
• Apprentice trained or engineering college educated.
• Ability to set and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Be able to read technical drawings.
• Experience of working to tight tolerances.
• Ability to inspect own work.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage conflicting demands on time and resources to deliver objectives.
• Using lifting equipment to load and unload components.
• Ensure quality of work is accurate, thorough and neat.
• Ability to produce a significant volume of work efficiently in a specified period of time.
• Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and willingness to learn.
