Engineering Technician (EL845)
Salary: £24,784 – £26,592 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 per week
Location: Ellesmere Port Campus
We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team. This role will be based at our Ellesmere Port Campus. It is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and inspiring Technician to provide quality support for learners, visitors, customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- The preparation, storage and maintenance of materials and equipment within the curriculum areas.
- Provide technical support within the Engineering department.
- Develop and construct activities for use in practical sessions.
- Assist in practical classes, carrying out demonstrations and trialling practical activities.
- Carry out risk assessments for technical activities.
Key Person Specification Requirements
- Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- GCSE Grade C (4/5) Maths and English.
- IOSH qualification (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards it.
- Valid first aid certificate or willingness to work towards it.
- Proven experience of working in an Engineering environment.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS check.
