Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kidsgrove for a Sheet Metal Worker. The role involves working with sheet metal to create, cut, bend, and assemble products according to detailed designs and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include using hand tools and machinery, performing welding operations, and performing quality checks to meet production requirements. The role requires close adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in the use of hand tools and specialized equipment for precise fabrication tasks
• Experience in metalworking and sheet metal fabrication processes
• Solid welding skills with an understanding of various welding techniques
• Familiarity with sheet metal work specific to industries including construction, manufacturing, and aerospace
• Attention to detail and craftsmanship ensuring accuracy and quality output
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Previous experience in aircraft manufacturing is an asset but not mandatory
• A team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety
