Sub Assembly Operative – Wallingford

General Description

The build, test and inspection of sub-assemblies.

Main Duties

• Assist in the manufacture of sub-assemblies as directed by the Cell Leader / Logistics Manager. Adopt good workmanship and quality standards.
• Carry out assembly duties in a timely and orderly manner per production schedules.
• Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as and when required.
• Maintain workstation, tools and any equipment including PPE in a clean and tidy state.
• Ensure strict adherence to the company’s Health and Safety policy and operate in accordance with all other company policies and procedures.

Ancillary Duties

To carry out such tasks and duties as may be required from time to time by senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A good standard of general education.
• General appreciation and understanding of conventional workshop power and hand tools.
• Ability to read drawings, follow work instructions and procedures would be advantageous.
• Located near Wallingford.
