- Level 1: £15.83, Level 2: £16.15, Level 3: £16.46
- Level 4: £16.76, Level 5: £17.07, Level 6: £18.31
- Starting pay: £16.46 per hour x 37hr week = £31669 per annum + Overtime = Earnings of £37000 achievable.
- Hourly rates increase with skill set via the companies skills matrix.
- Overtime rates: 1.5 Mon-Sat and Double time on Sundays.
- Location: Near to Coalville

Overview
Working for a large manufacturing business that has sites across the UK, the Mechanical Assembly Fitter will be site‑based working as part of the assembly team. You will be tasked to build the machinery using mechanical hand tools (spanners, torque wrenches, etc.) while reading assembly/engineering drawings to ensure that the products are built in the correct way.
Key Responsibilities
Reading assembly instruction/engineering drawings you will be building the bespoke machinery that the company manufactures onsite.
Ideal Candidate
- A mechanical skill set – ability to work with tools (spanners/wrenches), nuts and bolts.
- Computer literate.
- Strong communication skills.
- NVQ level 2 or above in a mechanical skill set beneficial.
- Competent at following assembly instructions.
Commute Area
Commutable from: Ashby‑De‑La‑Zouch, Coalville, Burton, Markfield, Loughborough and surrounding areas.
