As a JLL Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician, you would be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM), proactive, and reactive work on a range of industrial utilities and HVAC equipment, including:
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Chillers (water‑cooled and air‑cooled, including large centrifugal and screw chillers)
- Refrigeration systems (e.g., stand‑alone fridge/freezers, blast freezers)
- Heating systems (LPHW, LTHW, steam)
- Compressed air systems
- Ensuring all client equipment is in efficient and effective working order and complies with statutory regulations, JLL policies, and H&S requirements.
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing all necessary documentation on time within JLL’s facility management systems.
- Liaising with specialists and suppliers for industry requirements and parts procurement.
- Undertaking contractor control duties on behalf of JLL clients.
- Supporting JLL’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency in all maintenance activities.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- A relevant trade qualification or an apprenticeship in an Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC discipline.
- Relevant certifications, such as a Refrigeration F‑GAS 2079 Certificate.
- Proven hands‑on experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of refrigeration and HVAC equipment, often within commercial office buildings, industrial facilities, pharmaceutical environments, or data centres.
- A full, clean driving licence (for mobile/field‑based roles).
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within JLL’s integrated facility management framework.
