Fabricator / Welder

Certain Advantage are hiring for a Fabricator/Welder based in Skelmersdale on an initial contract basis.

We are working with a well-established manufacturer specialising in bespoke equipment and fabricated assemblies supplied into a range of demanding industries including:

• Subsea
• Nuclear

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and welding bespoke equipment and assemblies to engineering specifications
• Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
• Carrying out high-quality MIG welding operations
• Ensuring all fabrication and welding work meets required quality standards
• Working independently and as part of a production team
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Qualifications

• Have previous experience within heavy engineering or bespoke manufacturing environments
• Be competent in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
• Demonstrate a high standard of fabrication and MIG welding
• Have experience welding to coded standards (preferred)
• TIG welding experience would be advantageous
• Be reliable, motivated, and capable of producing work to a high standard
