Our client is a manufacturer and servicer of a wide range of products and services that help industries control and optimize the use of steam and other industrial fluids. They are recruiting for a CNC operator to join their team and help ensure products are up to standard.
Key responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC lathes or Mills
- Producing parts to drawing, including deburring, cleaning and packaging to set procedures
- Ensuring quality through inspection using gauges, verniers and micrometers
- Working to SOPs, production rates, FLOAC, maintenance and cleanliness standards
- Adhering to EHS requirements and supporting continuous improvement activities
- Being flexible to support other duties, including training others where required
- Owning personal development and always demonstrating company core values
Experience & Skills
- Basic CNC operating experience
- Experience using measuring equipment desirable
- Desirable ability to read engineering drawings and CNC programs
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in manufacturing desirable
- Understanding of working in a production environment and commercial impact
Salary/Package
- £30,000 – £35,000 base + 12% shift allowance (Increasing to 21% from June) = £36,300 – £42,350

Hours
- Late shift: Monday to Thursday (38 hours a week)
- Working hours: 2:00pm – 11:30pm
